Tide paintings (2005)
A series of landscapes created in Cornwall. I tried to capture the landscape by submerging 3 large, plain canvasses for 3 months in and around a small estuary. Like large litmus papers they soak up the sea and collect algae leaving the actual effect of the landscape on their surface.
